Sound Design: We help you choose equipment that is professional, sounds great, and is user friendly. We spend a lot of time during the design phase simply getting to know you and your needs individually. Not all venues are the same!
Troubleshooting: Is that a short in a speaker cable or has your mixer gone bad? The answer to this can be the difference between $20 and $2,000. Let me help you make sure you spend the right amount and we fix only what needs to be fixed.
Training: Large venues solve many of their sound problems by hiring an Audio Engineer. But for smaller venues and churches this isn't the reality. I provide training which goes beyond how to turn on the system. It explains the basics of sound engineering, why things sound the way they do, basic troubleshooting, etc. I am willing to work one on one or teach classes to groups of volunteers or employees.
We like to keep things simple at the The Patch so we have a basic fee structure that is the same for almost everything we do. This allows us to spend the appropriate amount of time on design, troubleshooting, and training without constantly watching the clock.
We charge a straight $75 an hour for our sound design services.
The only time that this is not applicable is when you already know you need a large design and install.
For large projects, we charge $100 to design and bid the job. If the bid is accepted, the $100 will be credited to the final costs.
